Social Ministry Team
Purpose:
To alert and mobilize the congregation to provide assistance and
advocacy to people in need within the congregation, community, or
wherever needs exist.
Opportunities:
- Support the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK);
- Annual blanket, coat and blood drives;
- Flower delivery to the homebound and hospitalized;
- Navajo Indian Project (Campbells Soup Labels);
- Mobile Meals of Hamilton food appeals and volunteers.
- Deliver palm crosses to hospital patients;
- Preparation of newsletter and bulletin articles;
- SouperBowl Sunday (in conjunction with Youth Group); and,
- Delivery if hand made mittens and hats to children in need.
