11 New Disciples!
June 21, 2009 - This Sunday, St. Mark welcomed eleven adult new members from a variety of faith backrounds
into our family by way of affirmation of faith or transfer. We welcome Jennifer, John & Stacy, Katharina, Karl & Nancy,
Claudia, Hilda, Robert & Barbara, and Donna who join us in proclaiming the redeeming love of Jesus christ through our worship,
nurture and service!

St. Mark has a rich tradition as a caring and supportive
family of faith desiring to embody the love of Jesus Christ.
We are a people with a mission... We are a people rooted in the
Holy Scriptures... We are a people growing in wholeness... We
are a people here for you.
We invite our cyberspace visitors to learn about our family and
faith here and at those sites our pages will lead you. For
those within our physical community, we invite you to come and
worship with us... to come and grow with us... and to join us in
proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world!

After being enthusiastically called by the St. Mark family of faith to fill our pastoral vacancy,
hundreds of family, friends and her new St. Mark family attended Linda Thurston's Rite of
Ordination and Installation service on Saturday,
February 23, 2008. The Reverend E. Roy Riley, Jr., Bishop of the New Jersey Synod, presided over the
